I need to practice various treatments as I progress with my training in order to expand the services available at Tranquil Mind (UK).  Details of these are below, and whatever you book in for, however many times, with the exception of Reiki, the treatments are absolutely FREE OF CHARGE. All I ask in return is that you help me by completing a comprehensive feedback form after each treatment, and that you do not share this page with anybody else - it is by invite only. Thank you.

Reiki ~ discounts will apply for family & friends

A combined Reiki and Reflexology can totally enhance your experience and will leave you feeling completely balanced, and in a state of total relaxation.

Reflexology ~ 60 to 90 minutes (mobile service available)

Reflexology has origins in ancient Egypt, China and even North American Indian tribes have practiced Zone Therapies, as it is known outside of the UK. Reflexology is a non-intrusive therapy system delivered by very subtly applying pressure to reflex points of the feet, hands or head, which are linked and correspond with every part of the body.  This gentle pressure stimulates movement of energy throughout the body, activating the bodies own natural healing abilities and restoring it to a natural state of neutral balance. A gently relaxing and invigorating massage is applied at the end of the treatment, with optional oils or creams. Other beneficial effects include a safe and tranquil environment, with overall improvements in personal health and wellbeing.

Indian Head Massage ~ 60 to 90 minutes (mobile service available)

Indian Head Massage originates within Ayurveda, believed to be one of the oldest holistic, or whole body, healing systems developed in India more than 3,000 years ago.  The treatment applies a focused massage to the head, neck and shoulders, with varying techniques and pressure to restore balance and harmony to the whole mind and body. With its origins seated in Hinduism and Buddhism, the treatment taps into the seven chakras to aid the natural realigning and rebalancing of the whole body. Other beneficial effects include it being highly effective at relieving stress and depression by providing a deep sense of relaxation of the head, shoulders and neck, whilst also revitalising the whole body and improving mood. All done within the peace and security of a safe and tranquil environment, this treatment should leave you feeling calm and relaxed.  

Relaxing Classic Massage:
Back Neck & Shoulders 60 to 90 minutes ~ Full Body 90 to 120 minutes

Massage has been practiced for thousands of years around the world, believed to originate within Ayurveda, one of the oldest holistic or whole body healing systems developed in India more than 3,000 years ago. A Relaxing Classic Massage can be tailored for you depending on whether you want to relax and de-stress, or whether you need help and relief with a specific symptom or health condition.  As well as relieving muscular tensions, aches and pains, massage helps lower blood pressure and provides increased peripheral circulation throughout the body.   Other beneficial effects include relief from anxiety, stress and depression through the deep sense of relaxation, as well as revitalising and invigorating the whole body, improving overall mood and personal wellbeing.

Hot Stones Massage:
Back Neck & Shoulders 60 to 90 minutes ~ Full Body 90 to 120 minutes

With foundations in the Relaxing Classic Massage above, Hot Stone Massage incorporates the use of heated stones which are placed on areas of the body, such as the acupressure points, transmitting heat deep into muscles and body. The hot stones are then used to massage, and when combined with essential oils, can aid the easing of pain, tension, aches and totally relaxes the body and mind. Hot Stone Massage is highly effective at relieving stress, relaxing muscles and relieving a whole variety of pain relating conditions, as well as revitalising and invigorating the whole body, and improving mood and personal wellbeing. 

Chair Massage ~ 30 to 60 minutes 

A Chair Massage uses a special seat and is in-intrusive, as it is carried out over clothing and does not require any oils or creams. The massage can focus on the head, back, shoulders neck and arms, and combines the Classic and Indian Head techniques to work on any muscle tensions, providing a sense of complete relaxation as the processes releases any stress and tension.

Personalised Meditation ~ 60 to 90 minutes 

Meditation for many might seem quite daunting and an unusual thing to do, but it can be fun, and there are many ways to explore and practice meditation allowing it to help you create peace and calm in your life. Rooted in ancient history with its earliest references originating in the Hindu Vedas of India, meditation is a noted component across Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, Jewish, Christian and Islamic traditions, where it is often translated as being 'contemplation' or 'prayer'.  Whatever your beliefs, meditation has a broad range of practices and techniques that allow us to focus and train the mind; either to bring about specific benefits, such as to promote relaxation, or to acknowledge our minds content and liberate our focus on that content; overall, meditation can improve emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being.  Personalised Meditation will be tailored to you, and your individual circumstances as well as your desired benefits. The session(s) will also provide you with all of the basics you need to continue outside of the session.  The beneficial effects can help you in many areas, and at the very least will help you achieve deep relaxation, in a safe and tranquil environment. 

Group Meditation ~ 60 to 90 minutes 

Group Meditation incorporates the principles of the personalised mediation, but is hosted for your group or team, and tailored to meet the overall desired benefits of the group.

Coaching & Mentoring ~ 60 to 90 minutes 

One-to-one coaching is not advice, therapy or counselling, but a process designed to help individuals deal with specific personal, business, or general elements occurring in the here and now of the persons life.  The process facilitates the individuals own realisation and acknowledgement of any challenges and obstacles, allowing them to generate ideas, before considering the actions and activities they need undertake to achieve a desired outcome. Coaching and mentoring is for anyone feeling they have lost their sense of direction, or is perhaps lacking the drive and motivation to accomplish specific goals.
